What do we have in common?

I have met many wonderful and interesting people over 48 years in real estate.

One day very early on one of my clients said to me, "Barry, you remind me of a duckling."

I wondered if this was good or bad, when she went on to say.."You appear on the surface to be so cool, calm and collected when all the while underneath you are actually paddling away furiously to get the job done".

I really appreciated that someone could actually look past the exterior of the real estate agent persona and see in fact a hard working man with a mission.

This conversation impacted on me greatly and in fact it is with fond memories that it remains with me to this day.
